1040 "Third Party Designee"

The "Third Party Designee" is not being carried over to the 1040. The box is defaulting to "No".

Paid Preparer  3rd Party Designee is by the Paid Preparer Signature

The "other than Paid Preparer" block is usually a no.

Sorry, but the information is correct regarding the third party designee. The program is not pulling the information into the return.

I had called in to support and was holding when the reply came back about the third designee box.  The whole description has changed and as the preparer our name would not go as the 3rd party preparer there.  There is a box down by the prepaper signature that indicates we are the 3rd party designee.  Thanks to the person who responded so I would go back and read the instructions better.  I quick holding for support and hung up.
