ror message trying to download 2022.  Need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 (x86).  Has anyone done this?

Thank you for your reply!  after several hours on-line with Microsoft, the fix is relatively easy for those getting error messages downloading ProSeries 2022.  I received two error messages in ProSeries Installer.  Both having to do with vcredist_x86 and vcredisst_x64.  Simply Google Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86).  a window will pop up saying Latest supported downloads.  Go to Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022.

Click on the x86 Permalink and download it.  Then repeat by clicking on x64 and download it. That will resolve any issues.  It's sad Intuit can't teach their representatives this to pass on to you.

 

Also if you go into your Control Panel, then Programs and Features, you will see both of these Microsoft Visuals there.

What Windows OS are you using? When did you last update Windows?
