I am an Intuit Proseries customer (for well over 10 years), why is Intuit utilizing my user list of tax preparers and soliciting them directly for employment?
I know that Intuit is using this list because all of my preparers as registered only on the Intuit platform have my home address and I am receiving all of the solicitations.
At a minimum this is extremely poor business ethics and certainly a privacy violation and likely an illegal use of our data by Intuit.
Have others encountered this and what action should be taken to stop and penalize these clearly unethical practices?
