Can IRC132 commuter benefits be treated as "state mandatory taxes" and deducted on Sch. A as state income tax? ProSeries does so. Is this correct?

I found that I mistakenly gave the wrong coding "tax and local taxes" to this IRC132 item on the W-2 entry worksheet. My understanding of the law is correct, but the entry was mistaken. Problem solved. Thank you very much!

They are not taxes. They are input incorrectly.
