Program will not allow a negative amount to be entered for such accrued interest paid to offset the 1099 -INT interest income amount entered on Sch. B. Review error results that precludes efiling.
In order to adjust the original 1099 -Int interest income amount for the related accrued treasury interest paid, enter on Sch 1, Line 8 Other Income line Line 12 other Taxable Income as a Negative amount.
No review error results; this adjustment nets out/adjusts the total taxable treasury interest received. Efiling final review is satisfied.
