Why is the yellow bar at the top of Form 1040 saying the form is not e-file ready? I'm current with updates and need to e-file.

i suspect that the particular client you are in, has a form that is not final approved for efile...like the 2210 or something.  go to another client and see if you get the same 'yellow' bar.  being current on updates, does NOT necessarily mean all forms are ready to be e'filed

I still see the yellow banner about the 1040 form not being ready to e-file.  And it's for a client with W-2 income only.  No other forms.

When I run error checking, the only issue I get is the Schedule B, Line 7 (foreign acct / trust question), and that doesn't even apply to the tax return.  Is the Schedule B issue causing the 1040 to show as 'not ready to e-file'?
