Q4. Why are other programs showing their forms available before mine?

At Intuit we work to provide high-quality content to avoid any extra work on your part.

While other programs may provide a form based on the prior year tax forms, which allows you to get started much quicker. It’s much more likely to result in a conversation with your client around amendment and changes in calculation.

Are they really that clueless?

It is FAR more work to wait for the forms. 

There would be no amendment because it can't be filed yet. 

As for a conversation with a client ... we need to have that "conversation" with EVERY client that needs the form if the form is completely unavailable, as opposed to MAYBE having a conversation *IF* something were to change.

Again, they are clueless and trying to feed us 💩

Did you notice how the "Intuit Sponsored" threads did not offer an opportunity for reply.  They had one indicating it was a solution.  Do they think we are that out of touch.  At least they felt the need to react in some way to the frustration and outright anger appearing in this forum.  The solution is to free up printing now instead of holding multiple tax preparers hostage.
