Anyone else having issues with the standard client letter this year? Whenever I prepare a letter with a Federal and State return individual return I get a @NYIForm printing in the middle of the letter (just below "Form 1040 Federal Individual Income Tax Return") as well as @FDITotVch (right below Form IT-201 NY Resident Income Tax Return and a @NYITotVch. The client has no Federal or State estimates yet the client letter also shows Fed and State estimates were prepared. I even went in and x'd the box to prevent 2024 estimates and this still shows up!
I've used Proseries for years and never had this issue. I tried editing the letter to delete these and end up with an illegible client letter.
Also the Federal tax summary used to be Page 2 and State summary page 3. Now they are both on Page 2 and the spacing between them is too close.
I've updated the program and refreshed updates as well.
