How do I handle a form 1042-S for a client who is now married to a us citizen? She previously filed FORM 1040-NR. The client has regular W2 income and withholding, as well as a form 1042-S for exemption of $5,000 due to a treaty with China. Can she file MFJ or does she need to file MFS on form 1040-NR?,
