Can ProSeries file a MFJ state return when the Federal is MFS? Do I use the joint file prior to splitting to e-file the State return and use the split files to file the separate Federal returns? Would I just need to eliminate the e-filing check boxes on the files that I'm not filing a return for? For example, Federal check box on joint file and State check boxes on the split files from Federal.
