How do i retrive a deleted and accepted efiled return

somehow clients accepted efile and data have been deleted, how can a I retrieve it from intuit?

Unless its in your recycle bin or saved in a backup to the cloud, you'll be forced to reenter from scratch, then update the Efile Acknowledgement.

Carbonite has been a lifesaver for me over the years, as sometimes the files get messed up when transferring from pending to accepted. I have a couple or so every year that do that...you can't open them... and I just delete and retrieve from Carbonite. Best money I spend all year.

Agreed, Carbonite has been there for me on several occasions as well.

How do update the efile acknowledgement? 

I efiled and then apparently saved over that file and now it shows it was never efiled, but I know it was.
