Will the Form 8864 Biodiesel Credit be available to e file the Federal returns this year? Many states have pass-through of this credit. Last year your support team said it would most likely be available this tax season. Therefore, my firm made the decision to continue with Proseries. Bottom line is that if we cannot e file, we cannot use your tax software package. IRS no longer uses the excuse of the software not providing the form as a reason for not e filing. For this reason I have been advocating to my fellow tax professional that they absolutely do not use Intuit Proseries software. Actually it doesn't matter what I say because any good tax professional would know that you cannot use it.
