Apply refund to IRS

How do I apply a refund to next years return? I forget which form. Thank you

Go to estimated tax worksheet. 1040 es wks. Then go down to Part 2 line 2b apply all and check box.

look at the 1040, the line that shows the amount applied to the next year, you can drill down to the entry sheet from there.
