client specific billing options page-- Every year, it carries forward the Flat Fee Description from the prior year that I had set up in Global Billing Options.  Every year.  But, for some unknown reason....the programers have overridden that selection on all our our clients (600), and have substituted their bland vanilla wording.  I have the correct thing set up in Global Billing options as always, but every client I have to delete that form, then open it back up and it correctly uses the Global Billing Setting.  SO, WHY did Intuit, feel the need to change this?

and is there a solution?

Check the Caution box on the top of the Invoice and all the global billing will transfer in. Another item someone thought required enhancing instead of it just working automatically as it always has. Thanks Intuit!

Thanks so much.  Went out to the "Edit Client Template" hoping I could check on there and save, but doesn't carry thru to any client that I open up.  But, your answer certainly helps not having to delete and reopen. Thanks again.

The template only affects New clients files, not existing ones.

Its all just a mess this year!   I've got the global billing flat rate fee entered in the options as well (not carried over, I did it at installation) but it doesn't print it on the invoice either.

So many important things that they needed to be working on....and someone decides this needs to be changed because last year worked correctly.

Agreed!  Leave the parts alone that worked fine...making so much more work for themselves as well as us!
