Why is ProConnect Generating a Subtraction on CA (540NR)?

Good morning Community!

I am seeking to understand why ProConnect is showing a subtraction on Part II, Section A of the CA 9540NR) form. My client is a non-resident but must file with CA because she receives RSUs from her employer.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Hopefully it is doing it because that income is not taxable or only partially taxable under CA law.

More info would help.
