Because there is already a place to enter wages?

Then how to file if the foreign company has no EIN?  Intuit(not so intuitive) says we can't e-file without it.  This is so frustrating and your comment is just trolling.

Isn't there a place in the wages input to indicate foreign employer?

As Susan says, there's already a place for it.

You don't have to look far.  It's under Income > Wages, Salaries, Tips (W-2).  See screenshot below.  You don't need to use the FEIE screens under Deductions, if you don't want to.

It would be unusual that you would make the entry for foreign wages under Income because input made on the FEIE screens could be sourced to US and overseas workdays for purposes of FTC, even when FEIE is not claim.

Would be very rare that you would have a client claiming neither FEIE or FTC.Screenshot from 2024-02-19 15-47-58.png

Susan was just tiring to be helpful in pointing out there is a place to enter foreign wages without employer information. You put it on the "Wages Salary, and Tips Worksheet" line 4

Just got off the phone with customer support to explain the issue and was told that you have to have an EIN to file.  So I'm just going to go back to my old software and request a refund.
