I am a long-time Lacerte user now retired with a small client base of older folks that I help pro bono. I would like to be able to move Lacerte tax files to Lacerte running on Parallels on a Macbook Pro. I have not had any success using media formats on hard drives or thumb drives that claim to be compatible with Mac and Windows. Using media in this matter caused the Lacerte files to become corrupted.
Any suggestions would be very helpful and thank you in advance.

Are you using Lacerte Backup AND restore? That should work. If you are trying to just drag and drop files, that will likely not work.
