Lacerte Diagnostic ref #19982

I have a client that maxes out her Social Security withholding from her wage job, but also has non income taxable IHSS social security wages and withholding, which is in excess.

I can not efile unless there are 2 W-2s showing the amount of SS withheld, but I can not include the IHSS W-2, since there in no income in box 1.

Has anyone run into this in Lacerte and how to get around this. I already tried to just input the excess in the credits directly. That won't let me efile either.

Thanks in advance

I have a similar but different issue.  I have a W-2 with nothing in Box 1 but wages in Box 3 and Box 5.  Income is taxable for social security and medicare but not income taxes as it a caregiver for a family member sharing the same domicile.  Getting this diagnostic as Box 1 is emplty.  Do I just take the W-2 off the return or do I enter an amount in box 1 and then enter as a negative later as Misc. Income?
