Is the cost bases of stock post NUA the share price of the initial distribution?

I haven't dealt with NUA, so I don't know, but given that you haven't gotten any other answers here, wanted to suggest maybe checking with a FB tax group rather than a software-specific place like here.  I'm a member of Tax Professionals of America and Compass Tax Educators, and they both have a lot of members with a wealth of knowledge that could probably speak to this if you still haven't found an answer.
