I lived in an area of Hawaii which negatively affected my COPD........the sugarcane burning and VOG triggered severe attacks. Based on my Pulmonologists recommendation i purchased a home at a higher elevation on the island. I couldn't sale my original house, so I rented it out for 4 years before selling it recently. Can I capture a partial capital gains exclusion SEC -3 c due to my extreme health issues?
