Why is California taking so long to "Accept" e-filings

Does anyone know why California is taking so long to "Accept" e-filings? It is taking 2 to 3 days. Initially California was accepting e-filings within hours.

My concern is if California "Rejects" a return well after the filing date, it may create some issues especially if the client is paying.

I saw a post somewhere that they're 36 hours behind in accepting returns. I dunno why.
