Why do you reply to some of these posts?

I am just wondering why you reply to some posts?  I read posts that are clearly from fellow professionals and I have no hesitation in responding if I believe I can help resolve their issue/add to the discussion.

However, I read many posts that are clearly from TurboTax users.  To my way of thinking, I don’t feel I should be spending $7000 annually for this program and then giving my knowledge away for free to someone who paid $50 for a program and is looking for free tax advice.

Am I wrong?
