UGI's aquisition of AmeriGas APU in 2019 - How are Form 1099-B sales of AmeriGas being reported. The K-1 has what I believe is the correct Adjusted Basis which is a negative Basis requiring paper file, while the 1099-B only shows original cost. The K-1 does not show a sales price but does show a gain subject to recapture as ordinary income. I would just like to read any discussions the community has had about this merger/sale.
