Confirming. Energy efficient baseboard electric heat is not eligible for residential energy credit.

How is it energy efficient?
Unless it uses a heat pump, I'm not aware of how electric heat could be energy efficient.

This is where I remind us Energy Star and Tax Credits are not the same bar for qualification. The baseboard units might qualify for rebates from an energy provider, for a State, but that's not what is used by the IRS, for nearly all products.
