Efiling

Today is opening day for e filing.  I am trying to convert my files, but it states that it did not covert.  Go back and check for errors.  When I check, there are no errors.  I have updated the system as of this morning.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Windows programs menu > Proseries 2020 > Repair Updates

see if that gets things working right.

I tried it twice.  It is still saying that the return cannot be converted.  Open up the file, check for errors and try again.  I have opened the file.  There are no errors.  I was able to send over a 2019 tax return for a client today with no issues.

Have you checked the box to verify your PTIN ?    It's new this year.

Oh my gosh, you saved my rear!  Thank you.  I spent over an hour on the phone even uninstalling the program and it was a simple checkbox.  I knew it would be something simple.   Seems they need to train people better.  Maybe you should work there.  Thank you.
