I efiled a return and Intuit accepted it yesterday. Client has a correction. Can it be cancelled in efile since IRS won't accept until February 12

I never did it with ProSeries, but ATX used to automatic reject it if you change anything in the return after submitting it , you can try calling them.

If you use the link from the notification that E-filing doesn't open until the 12th, you see this Warning:

Important Notes: 

  • Returns submitted during this period cannot be canceled, so please ensure that all returns are complete and ready to e-filed before submitting. Intuit will not be able to retrieve returns once they are submitted.
