Qualified Opportunity Fund gain deferral reporting on Form 1041

I need to defer long term capital gains on a Trust return, Form 1041.  I have done this on a 1040, using the Sch D worksheet and the entries come out correctly on both the 8949 and Sch D.  However, on a 1041, I either get error messages or the information doesn't appear correctly on the 8949 as per the IRS instructions.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Dan

Thank you for your reply, is there a way I can contact you directly?  Do you need any more information on this?  Any idea on turn around time.

Thanks, Dan

I am just checking back in to see if you have discovered anything or have any information to share.  I have 3 of these returns ready to efile; they are all getting the same error.  Is there another way I can reach out to you, through a phone call?  Thanks, Dan
