Preparer Signatures captured on Signature Pad - Printing on Returns

We use networked ProSeries Professional.

I read that preparer signatures could be added to returns using the signature pad instead of typing the preparer's name in the signature field.  We ordered a Topaz signature pad and I have stored my signature in the Manage Signatures section of the Firm/Preparer Info and have unchecked the "Print name in signature area?" as directed.  But it isn't working.  I see where last year there was a thread discussing this but there were no recent answers.

Does this actually work yet where the preparer signatures are printed on tax returns using the signatures that are stored in the Firm/Preparer Info section, or do you still have to capture it on each and every return separately?

If it doesn't work, what is the point of storing signatures in the Firm/Preparer Info?
