Is any piece of a NYS teacher's pension able to be excluded as taxable income on a full year North Carolina resident tax return? When filing a NYS return the full amount was able to be excluded from income. I understand it is taxable in North Carolina but was wondering if any of it can be excluded. I've read something about the Bailey Settlement exclusion but not sure that applies here. Thanks!
