Taxpayer was full year resident of New York/New York City.  Spouse lived and worked in Florida all year.  I can't get the spouse's income from populating in the New York Income for the State return.  Help!

Is the spouse still a NY resident?  Is their move permanent or only temporary?  Have they established residency in FL, drivers lic., registered the car, registered to vote, etc?

You could file MFJ federal, and MFS for state, if its allowed in NY

Does the spouse living in Florida even need to file a NYS MFS return?
