I am not understanding why numerous MLP K-1's have guaranteed payments and distributions for the same amounts (The amount was actually only paid once and is listed on the brokerage 1099 as a partnership distribution). Usually a payment it is either treated as a guaranteed payment or distribution, the same payment can't be both. What gives?
