Can some one help me with the Maine Public Employee Retirement add back to the Federal AGI. My client's W2 shows an amount in Box 14 with a code of MEPERS. ProSeries is not adding this amount to the Federal AGI. Programs says the add back code should be MSRS, ME Public Employee Retirement Plan. Do I add the MEPERS amount to Fed AGI and pay ME tax on it? Is it the same thing? Clarification would be greatly appreciated!
