How can I link a 1098-T to a dependent who is 18 years old.  I usually have a dependent who is between 19 and 23 years old and then their dependent status is Student, but this one is still a qualifying child.  Any help would be appreciated.

Cant you just check the Educational Tuition box on the dependent worksheet?

Then on the Student Information worksheet click the 1098T button.

It may sound weird, but I've never noticed that check-box (I've never needed it).  What exactly does it do?  I just link things on the college expenses worksheets.

It automatically brings up the Student Information Worksheet for that dependent.  You don't have to go out and create it.
