TAXPAYER SOLD INHERITED REAL PROPERTY (LTCG).  IS THERE A SEPARATE DATA ENTRY WORKSHEET FOR THESE TYPES OF TRANSACTIONS AS THERE WAS NO 1099-B AND NO FINANCIAL INSTITUTION INVOLVED?  ENTRY FORMS CHANGED FROM 2019.  DO I USE THE CAP GAINS DATA ENTRY WORKSHEETS AND IGNORE THAT IT DIDN'T INVOLVE A 1099-B AND A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION?

Use the 1099B worksheet, just scroll down past the brokerage info and you'll find an entry screen similar to the old Sch D.

Sometimes you just have to lace up those sneakers, grab the scissors and run like the wind - nose around the worksheets a little and plop some numbers here and there and see if the finished product looks like what you expected it to look like.  Living life on the edge like that can be exhilarating.  The worst than can happen is, you delete a worksheet because it didn't work right.
