Is it possible to create flattened PDFs in ProSeries

The form PDFs generated by default in ProSeries are not flattened and this creates an issue with some PDF viewers not displaying all information on forms.  Is there a way in ProSeries elect to create archive PDFs (PDF/a format)?

I spoke to ProSeries support about this issue and their answer is that it isn't possible to generate archival PDFs directly from ProSeries.  This means that we need to use a 3rd party PDF generator and create each copy of a form (preparer copy, client copy, taxing agency copy, etc.) for any PDF that we want to upload, share with our clients, etc. to assure that the many, many web viewers that might be displaying the uploaded PDF will all properly display the forms.  This is extremely inefficient from a workflow standpoint.  The really frustrating part is that prior to the 2022 tax year, we never had this problem with ProSeries PDFs. Very disappointing!.

Honestly, youre the first post Ive seen complain about this,  People complain about the file size of the PDFs being too large, but Ive never seen any posts about this flattened PDF necessity.

These people that are having problems must be using an uncommon PDF viewer.
