Rental income for married filing separately

Client has rental income, but is married filing separately.  Proseries seems to be denying income reported.

Can you clarify what you mean by "Proseries seems to be denying income reported"?

Have you gone through the error check/review?

Thank you for suggesting "final review."  Since taxpayer did live with spouse during the year, the rental did
not calculate.  I thought it would be net income, but Proseries figured a net loss when I checked the "not live with spouse during the year" box on the information page.  I'll have to figure why it was a net loss, but the answer is good for now.  Conclusion:  since taxpayer and spouse lived together during the year, the rental will not show on the tax return.

I'm satisfied with this answer.  How do I mark it as "recommended"?

I just converted it to an answer that you can now 'recommend'.
