federal info worksheet > scroll down to part VI > uncheck extension box > make sure original return extension box is checked > efile return

If you filed an extension there is no need to take the extension OFF.... It should stay in the return information. I don't which state you are in but for Indiana the extension information is required to be checked when filing.... this won't happen if I'd uncheck the extension information before I send the finished return.
