NEW 1041 FORM GET AN ERROR MESSAGE "DATE PREPARER SIGNED MUST BE ENTERED IN PAID PREPARERS SECTION. FOLLOW ED "CROSS-REFERENCE AND CHECKED"PRINT DATE ON RETURN" IN PREPARERS SECTION AND FILLED IN A BUNCH OF DATES ON CLIENT STATUS BUT STILL GET THE ERROR MESSAGE

I had that error the other day, but it went away when I checked the box to Print Date on Return in the Preparers Info section...will it let you just type a date in?
