Every year when new software comes out there is always a glinch somewhere.
Right there is an error being produced when you are trying to complete an S Corp Business Tax Return and this particular business you are completing should not have a Statement A (199 Information) that is associated with the business activity. Right now under this scenario you are seeing an error in a persons K-1 form in the area of a Statement A - QBI Pass Through Entity Reporting where the system is currently asking for a shareholder EIN number when there should not be anything.
The only way to get rid of this error message showing up is actually going to the 199A Worksheet By Activity and answering the questions of whether or not the business is a qualified trade/business. That seems to get rid of the Statement A form that is underneath the k-1 form for the business owner. Again this situation is only releveant if you a S Corp business for which there should be no 199A calculations associated with the business.
