I am attempting to help a fellow ProSeries user with a transfer problem. I need to transfer 2020 Form 1040 Basic files to the 2021 Professional version. I have researched via Intuit and found the steps to accomplish this. Everything goes fine until I attempt to “select all” to copy the Basic 20Data files. It shows no files to transfer. I know they reside in the 2020 Basic version but simply cannot get them moved. I have checked and then rechecked the steps but no luck. Any suggestions???

Check which folder its pointing to in your transfer window (top left corner), Pro defaults to the Pro Data folder, Im guessing you need to redirect it to the Basic Data forlder.
