Client Resident Of Massachusetts Received a 1099-S For the sale of Land In Florida

Hello Proseries Community, my client who's a resident in Massachusetts received a 1099-S for the sale of land in Florida.  There is no 1099-S in Proseries Basic.  What forms should I use for this form, Schedule D, etc....?  It is the first time I file their return and I do not believe that they recapture any depreciation.  Will need to do that as well, correct?  Thanks.

Sch D/8949 Use the 1099B worksheet and skip over the brokerage section.

Land doesnt get depreciated, so youre good there.

Hi Lisa,

I was just telling my wife that I thought that we needed to fill out Schedule D/8949 but not 1099-B.  I will do that.  Thank you much...
