Client letter on Amended Tax Returns

Has Pro Series resolved the client letter issue on amended returns to reflect the true tax dues/refund on the 1040-X side? It looks like the California side correctly reflects the taxes due/amount on the amended return but not on the federal side. In addition, it does not indicate amended returns on the letter for both federal and state.

I dont use the letter for amended returns, I just give them a copy of what was filed, so I wasnt aware there was a problem.

Are you printing the Amended Letter or the Standard Letter?

I just viewed the letter under Tools for the amended return type  expecting that since it's the amended return, the associated client letter will indicate that it's the amended return and the taxes due on the letter  would be the correct amount reflected on 1040-X.

I don't see an option for amended letter on the Basic.
