Client died in 11-26-18 but SSA-119 reported 12 months' benefits. Widow refunded December's benefits. Will SSA adjust this in the following year or should I use 11/12ths?

The SSA probably failed to update their system on time to reflect the money returned in Dec (or that the refund may have been processed and/or posted only in Jan).  Your client could contact the SSA to issue a Corrected SSA-1099.
