CALIFORNIA UNEMPLOYMENT

Has anyone being able to find a solution in filing unemployment taxes in CA ?

ProSeries is using the Federal Adjusted Gross Income 540 Line 13 which includes the unemployment to calculate the EIC which reduces the credit a taxpayer is elegible for.

Yes, I update this morning.  I do it everyday before I start my day.

The problem is that you solve one problem but created another one.  Now the EIC is being calculated taking into account the Unemployment in CA Return which in CA the unemployment is not taxable.  In my case I deal with a low income taxpayers which get the EIC and I can't manuallly adjust the numbers to reflect the correct EIC amount.
