attaching form 1116B

online help said you do not need to attach form 1116B for 2023, but the review states it should be attached and gives the instructions you had to follow for previous years.  The "Type" no longer lists the 1116.  This return was rejected last year for this very issue.  Just want to be sure it is not required and will not be rejected.  Assume you attach nothing?

Havent had one yet, it possible that the diagnostics didnt get updated from last year. 

Id try and transmit without attaching, then if it bounces back, attach and use the OTHER type and put in 1116B, see if that will fly.

That is what I think, but just hate not knowing since it was rejected for that last year

If it rejects, fix it and send it back through, no harm, no foul.
