All our individual returns have the sales tax as being deducted in 2017 even if they used the state tax deduction. Is this a ProSeries issue which is being worked on?

Was fixed several weeks ago, but to get the fix to be implemented you would need to delete that client file and re-transfer from 2017.  

Never transfer all your client files into the new year in Dec or early January, many times a transfer glitch has caused issues like this.
