I am trying to file a 990 with an accounting year change. I have selected Change of Accounting Period in Box IV of the information worksheet. I am receiving an error message: "Acct period chg apprv cd should be entered to file electronically".
How do I correct this error? I receive the message whether I select "Form 1128 was approved" or "Revenue Procedure 85-58 rules apply" from the drop down in Part IV.
