I used ProSeries professional edition for 19 years, but for 2022 returns I selected the ProSeries Basic package (for 50 returns) since I'm close to retirement and only doing aoubt 30-40 1040's a year.
These returns were efiled by the April deadline; however, in going back to a couple of them, a significant portion of the data I entered is no longer there! I wanted to use those returns as a basis for helping my clients estimate their 2023 tax liabilities based on changes they've made this year.....sale of rental properties and main home for example.
WHY am I not able to get the fully completed returns when opening my 2022 tax software?
