Cannot get past "Pro series is Completing Calculations" when I try to open a 1041 return that has not been filed. The 1041s that have been filed open up quickly. Have tried turning computer on and off and reinstalling Pro Series 2019 again. Neither has worked. Any Suggestions? Thanks
The normal route would be to try running "repair updates" and then progress to reinstall. However since you have already gone the reinstall route, and it sounds like it is only one client file, you could be dealing with a corrupt file. If so, you could try restoring that file from an earlier backup or go the the nasty route of starting the return from scratch.

Ive seen other people fix this by uninstalling the 1041 module and reinstalling it. You wont lose your client data files.
Close ProSeries. Use Windows Add/Remove Programs and find ProSeries 2019.
Click Uninstall. It will act like its going to uninstall the entire program, dont panic, it wont.
Choose 1041 in the window that opens. Uninstall it.
Now Restart the computer and start up Proseries 2019.
Go to Updates > Select and Download New Products, make sure the 1041 is checked, click Next and reinstall.
