1099 from Raymond James:

The following amounts are not reported to the IRS. (it states on the 1099-int.) For reference wnen preparing your tax return.  No line numbers.

Bond Premium - Tax-exempt obligations (noncovered lots)  basically 10K

Is that number to be used on the tax return somewhere?

Yes

The bond premium on the tax exempt bonds reduces the tax exempt interest from the applicable bonds.

Did you mean to say Sch. B?   That is where I entered the Tax-Exempt interest?

If so, I have double clicked on it and did not find a line to enter it on.  Can you tell me what line the $10,246.29 would go on?

Thanks
